Helios’ plan continues to incorporate a new leadership team with the departure of former Chief Scientific Officer, Dr. Gerwin Schalk.
NEW YORK, November 9, 2023 - Pioneer in voice-based tonal analysis, Helios Life Enterprises, made a a bold move that signals a new era for Helios Life Enterprises, Inc. The company is thrilled to announce the appointment of Sam Debnath as its new Chief Technology Officer. Sam, a seasoned software development engineer from Amazon Global Robotics, is set to bring a fresh perspective and innovative leadership to Helios.
This appointment marks a new chapter for Helios as former Chief Scientific Officer, Dr. Gerwin Schalk, has fully resigned from the organization and will no longer be involved in the leadership team, board of directors, technical guidance or in any voting capacity. Dr. Schalk will pursue his position as Laboratory Director for the Tianqiao & Chrissy Chen Institute Frontier Lab based in Shanghai, China.
Sam's journey from developing cutting-edge robotics at Amazon to leading the tech division at Helios is a testament to his adaptability and prowess in the tech industry. But it's not just his professional background that makes Sam a unique addition to the Helios team. A passionate runner, an avid gamer, and a fermentation enthusiast, Sam brings a rich tapestry of experiences and interests that reflect the diverse and dynamic culture that Helios is charting forward.
In his new role, Sam will spearhead the development of Helios' advanced platform for audio speech analytics for quantitative hedge funds. With an ambitious goal to ingest over 1,000,000x the data that is currently available, Sam's leadership will be instrumental in driving this groundbreaking initiative.
